Michael & Renée Ascher
Senior Pastor

A native of
Rockford, Illinois, Mike Ascher graduated from Bob Jones University in
1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies. In 1993 he earned a
Master of Ministry degree from Northland Baptist Bible College. From 1988
to 1994 Mike served as the youth and music pastor at Falls Baptist Church
in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. In 1994 God led the Aschers to Kettle
Moraine Baptist Church where Pastor Ascher was senior pastor until the
Lord moved him to Bible Baptist in West Chester in the summer of 2002.
Pastor Ascher served as a police chaplain with the Whitewater Police
Department from 1997 to 2002. In 2000 the City of Whitewater awarded him
their Civilian Service award for his work with the police department.
Pastor Ascher has served on the board of Camp Joy in Whitewater,
Wisconsin, and currently serves on the board of the Keystone Christian
Education Association. He has also traveled to locations in Canada,
Mexico, and India to encourage foreign missionaries. Mike and Renee' have
eleven children and reside in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Pastor Ascher
enjoys Civil War history, sports, and deer hunting. |

Phillip Gingery
Assistant Pastor & Minister of Music Pastor

A native of
Greenville, SC, Philip Gingery graduated from Bob Jones University in 1985
with a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance and in 1987 with a Master of
Music in Voice Performance. In 1999, he completed a Master of Ministry
degree program. Pastor Gingery has been involved in a variety of
capacities at Bible Baptist Church since coming in 1989. Along with music
duties in the church and school, he has helped as needed in overseeing Sunday
School, C-Clubs, Children's Church, Visitation and currently continues to
provide pastoral oversight of the Nursery and Outreach ministries. As a
professional musician he maintains an active membership in National
Association of Teachers of Singing, Music Educators National Conference,
Pennsylvania Music Educators Association and American Choral Directors
Association. He is also active in the Pennsylvania
Association of Regular Baptists, the Independent Baptist Fellowship of
North America, and the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship, often asked to
organize conference music. Among his ministry outlets at Bible Baptist
Church and West Chester Christian School, Pastor Gingery is an active
member of the Sacred Music Services Men's choir and has been as ministry
allows an adjunct professor at fellowship Bible Schools. Phil and Becky
have eight children and live in West Chester, enjoying a rare round of golf,
collecting old books and wrestling with the kids. |

Daniel & Melinda Brabson
Minister of Youth

Originally from Woodridge, Illinois, Dan
Brabson attended Northland Baptist Bible College graduating with a
Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies in May of 2004. Shortly thereafter,
in August, Dan began serving on staff at Bible Baptist as Minister of
Youth. Dan and his wife, Melinda, enjoy serving in the church, teaching in
the school, reading, and playing a variety of sports. His desire in
ministry, along with that of the youth staff, is to see each teenager
start and maintain a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

David Douglass
Director of Outreach/
Assistant to the Pastor

David was raised in a Christian home where
his mom and dad were both very active in many Christian activities. His
father owned and operated a large outdoor advertising business. David
attended a Christian school that his father and several other business men
helped start in 1952 until 9th grade. He is the youngest of four boys.
After graduating from Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida in 1970,
he
attended Bob Jones University where he graduated in 1974 with a degree in
Practical Christian Training. After teaching two years at Goldsboro
Christian School in Goldsboro, N.C. he returned to BJU to pursue a masters
in Educational Administration which he received in September 1977. He has
been married to his wife, Miranda, since June 3, 1977 and they have four
children: Timothy, Joel, Philip, and Cherith.
In August of 1977 he became the Administrator of Mountain View
Christian School in Hummelstown, PA a position he held for twenty five
year. In September of 2002 he began his present ministry here at Bible
Baptist Church and West Chester Christian School.
In July 2007 Dave assumed the position of Director of Outreach / Assistant to the Pastor.

Dennis Quattlebaum
School Administrator

Dennis
Quattlebaum joined our staff this summer as the school
administrator. He comes to us with 14 years of experience as an
assistant secondary principal, an elementary principal, and a school
administrator. Dennis graduated from Bob Jones University in 1989
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education and a minor
in music. In 1990 he completed a Master of Science degree from BJU
in Educational Administration and Supervision. He is five courses
and a dissertation away from an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership
with an emphasis on Biblical counseling. Dennis and his wife, Aimee,
have two children.
