The music program at Bible Baptist Church exists to exalt the name of our Lord Jesus Christ through instruments and voice. Along with the pianos and organ, the church orchestra supports the choir as it leads the congregation in worshipping the Lord in Spirit and truth.
Out of the choir and orchestra come many
opportunities for participation in various solos and ensembles. We worship
with traditional, Christ honoring music and seek to accomplish three main
goals in each service: 1) worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness,
2) edify our local body of believers 3) point the unsaved to Christ.
The
Bible Baptist Church Orchestra plays a key role in
our Sunday morning and evening services. The orchestra accompanies all of
the hymn signing on Sunday morning and evening and occasionally accompanies the
adult choir. The orchestra is open to all members of
our church who are proficient with their instrument. We encourage you to
join us if God has gifted you in this area.
Bible Baptist Church is committed to the musical training of our children. There is a graded children’s choir program that gives every child (K-4 through 6th grade) an opportunity to be involved in an age appropriate group. Developing proper choral skills, encouraging a love for singing and developing a heart for ministering in the local church are all important goals of this ministry. Along with weekly rehearsal times, the children’s choirs also minister regularly in our Sunday evening services.
